I came up with the idea for doing a show of this nature not to be controversial but rather to help bring some understanding to what, a large segment of the population believes, is simply being American. I wanted to lend a voice for all those who find they believe as we do. I have read far more negative viewpoints of this idea than I ever thought i would. I read these rude and hateful comments and it bothers me because I know what they describe are not my thoughts, they aren’t the feelings I have and frankly I am tired of being tossed into the category of being a right wing nut job.
